Pictures here from the locomotives being used at the North Yorkshire Moors 2009 Autumn Steam Gala, which featured many steam engines being used for the delight of the crowds that visited the event.
In particular 70013 Oliver Cromwell marked the event for being a first for a Britannia class engine to visit the railway. Its performances were quite brilliant, especially on the faster run to Battersby.
75029, 45212, 6619, 76079, were other engines worthy of note, while some other engines were also photographed.
