This year saw the K1 NELPG tour venture onto the Durham coast and take in more industrial areas. Following the run around the Coast the train ventured onto the Seal Sands branch, which rarely sees trains, nevermind Steam. Following this the tour, after reversing at Eaglescliffe ventured to boulby Potash, slightly retracing its routes from the previous year.
