Its a rare chance to see an engine get named. At Shildon, NRM Locomotion Museum, 66957 was given the honour of being named after the famous "Stephenson Locomotive Society," which is the oldest enthusiast group currently active. The engine has a proud history to bare as others have been named after the society, but also many in reference to the locomotive engineer George Stephenson whos Locomotion No. 1 was based at Shildon many years ago from 1825.
