This year, little engines made the headlines with a number of smaller engines brought in to show the might of small shunters for the Locomotions annual steam gala.

Engines featured inclulded both Y7s, the darlings of the NER small tanks, normally eclipsed by the successful and popular J72. A Midland Jinty, an industrial tank and Furness 20 added to the line up.
