Fastline's class 56, 56302, was the engine of choice for a railtour on the 15th March 2008. The engine bringing back sounds of the class that were not too unfamiliar a few years previously, with the North East as the last bastion of the classes regular work.

The tour was seen powering away from Teesside and then near Sedgefield before then being caught at the viaduct in Durham. Finally, Newcastle central was the next place the tour was seen, in amongst the usual sightings of units seen in another Newcastle Central Collection on the homepage.
